Business Recycling
 Businesses
are required to recycle a variety of materials and may choose Pacific
Waste Services to provide their recycling collection service. Pacific
may be reached at (619) 421-9400. Businesses may also sell or donate
recyclable and reusable materials to an alternate recycling or reuse
company.
Pacific provides free food and beverage container recycling to
all restaurants and hospitality businesses that sell or provide
beverages and food to its customers or employees.
Pacific also provides mixed paper and cardboard recycling bins
at a reduced rate established by the City. Pacific Waste Services
can also provide recycling for clean loads of concrete, asphalt
and wood if your business is going through a remodeling or building
project. Additional materials may be recyclable as well, check with
Pacific Waste services before co-mingling the materials with trash.
The State mandates that each city and county and its respective
residents and businesses reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills
each year by 50%. Reuse and recycling are good for the environment
and will help you keep your business waste costs down.
