Boards & Commissions
The City of Chula Vista has several active Boards and Commissions. These
valuable groups provide public input to City government and
facilitate quality decision-making. Members of these boards and commissions may only serve 2 consecutive terms of 4 years each.
Board and commission members all serve with no monetary
compensation.
To be eligible to serve on a board or commission, you
must be registered to vote in Chula Vista elections. For more information on rules and regulations related to serving on a board or commission, please refer to the Municipal Code (Title 2, Chapter 2.25), and the City Charter.
If you are interested in serving on a City board or commission,
please complete an application.
Your application will be kept on file for consideration for two years from the date you apply. If you are selected for an interview you will be contacted by City staff.
For more information on boards and commissions, please contact Jennifer Quijano in the Mayor and Council Offices at (619) 691-5044, or via e-mail at jquijano@chulavistaca.gov.
