City CouncilThe City Council meets regularly on the first four calendar Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located at 276 Fourth Avenue in Chula Vista.

If you wish to address the City Council in person, you may attend any meeting, fill out a "Request to Speak" form (available in the lobby), and submit it to the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting.

If you wish to address the Council regarding an item appearing on the agenda, the Mayor will call you to the podium at the appropriate time.

If the item you wish to address is not on the agenda and is within the Council's jurisdiction, you may speak during "Public Comments." State law generally prohibits the Council from taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Council may refer the matter to staff. Public Comments are limited to three minutes.

Regular meetings may be viewed as they happen on AT&T U-verse channel 99 and Cox Cable channel 24. Recorded City Council meetings may be viewed on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on Cox Cable channel 24. Live and Archived Council meetings may also be viewed on the City's website here.

Copies (DVDs) of the meetings are available for checkout on the Monday following the meeting at the Chula Vista Public Library, 365 F Street. They may also be purchased for $20; call (619) 691-5296 for further information.
