Downtown Parking District Map
Parking Permits
Monthly parking permits are available for the Downtown Parking District. Permit holders can park in any downtown municipal lot with their permit.
Permits may be purchased ONLINE here.
Permits are only available for purchase online.
Park Cards
Park cards are available for the Downtown Parking District. Cards are available for purchase at the Chula Vista Finance Department. Park cards can be purchased in any denomination and can be used at any on-street meter or municipal parking lot.

How to Pay a Parking Ticket
You may pay your parking citation in person or by mail.

How to Appeal a Parking Ticket
 Request to dismiss parking citation
If you wish to appeal a parking citation, you may go in person to the Police Deparment to complete a "Request for Dismissal" form or mail a written statement of facts to the address on the back of the citation. Please include all documentation, such as photos, copies of disabled person’s placard with ID card, or valid parking permit. Be sure to include a copy of the ticket and your return address. You will be notified of the results by mail within four weeks. If your dismissal request is denied, you will have 21 days from the date of notification to pay the citation at the original amount.

Please note - parking citations issued by Ace Parking inside the Downtown Parking District CANNOT be paid at the Chula Vista Police Department.

How to Appeal a Parking Ticket
Appeals must be submitted within 21 days from the date the citation was issued.
If you wish to appeal a parking citation, please wait 24 hours from the time of issue. If your appeal is denied, you will have 21 days from date of notification to pay the citation at the original amount.
You may appeal your citations by mail, by phone, in person, or ONLINE here. For appeals by mail or in person, please complete the appeal form below.
