Delinquent Trash Payments
The City of Chula Vista Finance Department assists in the collection
of unpaid trash accounts. Pacific Waste forwards delinquent accounts
to the City for processing and collection. If the City's attempts
to collect are unsuccessful and the accounts remain delinquent,
the City places a lien on the affected properties and ultimately
the unpaid charges are placed on the property tax bills for collection.
If you have received a notice from the City requesting payment
on a delinquent trash bill, you must make your payment to the City
of Chula Vista, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, CA, 91910. Please
do not pay Pacific Waste directly as this delinquent portion of
your account has been assigned to the City for collection.
