The Chula Vista Animal Care Facility ensures health and safety for animals and citizens in Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, National City and Lemon Grove.
Starting Monday, December 8, 2008, the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility will now be closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Services include:
- Picking up stray and nuisance animals
- Accepting lost and relinquished animals
- Assisting injured and stray animals
- Finding homes for unwanted animals
- Controlling animals that bite or are vicious or threatening
- Handling barking dog complaints.
- Fighting against animal cruelty.
- Assisting with lost and found pets.
- Licensing dogs
- Rescuing fighting animals, and animals locked in hot vehicles.
