Home 4 the Holidays 2007

Make sure your 2008 is a dog-gone purr-fect year and participate in Home 4 the Holidays! This eight-week adoption campaign, beginning November 5, is aimed at increasing adoptions from animal shelters during the holiday season. The Chula Vista Animal Care Facility (CVACF) is partnering with other San Diego and national organizations to find good loving homes for many orphaned animals. More families add pets to their homes during November through January than another other time of year, yet only 17 percent of these animals are adopted from rescues and shelters. Kick off this special season with a visit to CVACF and find your perfect pet. The facility is located at 130 Beyer Way and open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information contact, (619) 476-2491.

Microchipping and Rabies Vaccinations

• Wednesdays & Thursdays from 1 pm to 3 pm
• $15.00 fee for microchipping any owned dog(s) and cat(s)
• $5.00 rabies vaccination for any dog over 4 months of age.
