The Chula Vista Library is the community's family room where reading and learning are encouraged and celebrated.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Chula Vista Public Library is to increase knowledge and enrich lives within the community. We accomplish this by connecting people equitably to responsive programs, services and resources that reflect the ideals of a democratic society.

Budget

With an annual budget of approximately 4.5 million dollars, the Library Department is committed to cost effective service delivery.

The Chula Vista Public Library has a five year Strategic Plan which outlines numerous goals and objectives designed to ensure that the needs of the community are met.
