The Office of Arts & Culture provides advisory services and support for the broad array of individuals and organizations engaged in the field of public art in Chula Vista and the southern California region. Public Art Around Chula Vista
As an artistic and cultural destination, Chula Vista is vibrant, diverse, and energetic. In an effort to build a creative and stimulating atmosphere, the Cultural Arts Commission and the Office of Artsand Culture have invited local, regional, and national artists to fashion works that beautify the city and inspire residents and visitors alike.
The resulting collection of more than 80 public artworks includes collaborations with local school children, memorials to those who gave their lives in service to the community, and responses to the region’s distinctive natural and cultural environment.
