Arts Juried Art Exhibitions
Sponsored by the National Arts Program Foundation, Inc., in support
and cooperation with the City of Chula Vista, the National Arts
Program provides professional and nonprofessional artists with a
rare opportunity to exhibit their works publicly, and to compete
for cash and continuing arts education scholarships. The exhibit
is judged by professional artists and arts professionals.
The Annual National Arts Program Exhibit and Contest is open to
City of Chula Vista and South Bay community residents, City employees
and their relatives. Entries and winners are displayed annually at the Chula Vista Public Library.

Music
In The Park 
This annual summer concert
series has been presented by the City of Chula Vista for the past
45 years. These concerts, organized by the Office
of Arts & Culture, are held in various parks throughout the city
and provide free family entertainment and a wide range of diverse
musical offerings.
Previous concerts have included Island
Fever, Dr. Feelgood, Bayou Brothers, Air National Guard Band of
the Southwest Concert Band, Bill MacPherson, the Rhythmakers
Band, Quiet Storm, Breezin', The Heroes, The Players, the San Diego
Chamber Orchestra, FattBurger, Cool Fever, Night Shift, the Scott Martin Band, Pacific Brass & Electric, Hip Pockit, and Carlos X Jazz Pigs.
Rosemary Lane Galería
The Galería provides
exhibition space for local and regional artists to showcase their
work. The Galería is located in the South Chula Vista Branch Library. It is open to
the public during normal library hours and is located at 389 Orange
Avenue. The gallery space consists of 98 linear feet of wall hanging
space and an open floor area of 15' x 45'. Exhibition information
can be obtained from the Chula Vista Public Library's Public Relations Manager.
