Local Author to Discuss Latest Book at Library

What would the world be like today if the Japanese had attacked San Diego in 1942? What would you do if you found out this happened in an alternate universe? These are some of the questions prompted in Roger Conlee’s new book, “Counterclockwise.” Conlee will be at the Civic Center Branch Library on June 14 at 2 p.m. to discuss the book and answer questions. Following the free presentation, the book will be on sale and there will be a book signing. The Civic Center branch is located at 365 F St.

Conlee’s book is part alternative history, and part science-fiction and thriller. Add in a cop, a spy, a movie star, and a dogged reporter and we have a genre-busting literary experience.

For additional information on library programs, services, or events, visit www.chulavistalibrary.com or call the Civic Center branch at (619) 691-5069.
