| The wait is over; join us in celebrating Stephenie Meyer’s fourth book in “The Twilight Saga” titled “Breaking Dawn.” Chula Vista Public Library will host a teen party for the final book of the saga on Aug. 2. The party will be at the South Chula Vista branch, and will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. after the library closes for the day. “Every year we try and do something special for the teens of Chula Vista for our Summer Reading Program Finale,” said Joy Whatley, who is the Teen Programming Manager. “This year’s event has us really excited, as this series has been very popular with the teens,” continued Whatley.
“Breaking Dawn” is the long anticipated finale to Meyer’s popular series about a love triangle between a girl, a vampire, and a werewolf. The books in the series are at all three Chula Vista libraries. The first book in the series is entitled “Twilight”, followed by “New Moon”, and “Eclipse.” “Breaking Dawn” will be available at the library.
Teens between the ages of 12 and 17 are welcome to attend the event. All library programs are co-sponsored by the Friends of the Chula Vista Public Library, and are free and open to the public.
