Friendship Park on August 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The reading program festival starts at the
library.s auditorium with .Tunes and Tales. by Nancy Saint John, and moves outside for face
painting, balloons and games. The Civic Center Branch is located at 365 F St. For more

The .Catch The Reading Bug. summer reading program, sponsored by the library and the
Friends of the Chula Vista Library, concludes Friday with over 4,500 participants. The library
offers reading programs in the spring, summer and fall to assist parents and schools with
encouraging children to read while on break from school.
