Summer Reading Program Festival
 
Bring the kids and enjoy a fun-filled event at the Civic Center Branch Library and neighboring Friendship Park on August 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The reading program festival starts at the library.s auditorium with .Tunes and Tales. by Nancy Saint John, and moves outside for face painting, balloons and games. The .Catch The Reading Bug. summer reading program, sponsored by the library and the Friends of the Chula Vista Library, concludes Friday with over 4,500 participants.
