Working with the Friends of the Library
- Assist with online book sales
- Help in the daily transactions of the bookstores
- Help price used books and stock the stores

Working with Books
- Return library materials to the shelves
- Clean and repair library materials
- Help straightening sections of the library
- Help sort book donations
- Assist with processing materials

Volunteering at Special Events
- Teen Read and Feed (read to children and share snacks)
- Library cultural events
- Beautify Chula Vista
- Christmas in October
- Starlight Parade

Printout and complete a Volunteer Application or pick one up at your nearest Chula Vista Branch Library.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 50 hours of service.
PLEASE remember to attach a separate sheet with the answers to the following questions. "Why do you want to volunteer at Chula Vista Public Library? How can you benefit the Library's programs and the community?
To volunteer for the Chula Vista Public Library you must be 15 1/2 years old. We are happy to accommodate students assigned to do community service hours.
Incomplete applications can not be accepted.
