Tutor Students

  • Assist Students in the Computer Lab
  • Tutor middle- and high-school students in math and English
    after school

The Friends of the Library

  • Assist with online book sales
  • Help in the daily transactions of the bookstores
  • Help price used books and stock the stores

Work with Books

  • Return library materials to the shelves
  • Clean and repair library materials
  • Help sort book donations
  • Assist with processing materials

Other Special Events

  • Taste of the Arts
  • Teen Read and Feed (read to children and share snacks)
  • Library cultural events

Printout and complete a Volunteer Application or pick one up at your nearest Chula Vista Branch Library.

To volunteer for the Chula Vista Public Library you must be 15 1/2 years old. We are happy to accommodate students assigned to do community service hours.
