Sewer and Pump Maintenance
 The Sewer and Pump Maintenance Program provides wastewater infrastructure maintenance services to residens, busineesses and other City departments so they can benefit form a reliable and environmentally safe wastewater system.
The
Wastewater Section maintains over 425 miles of sewer
lines, 42 pumping systems, 8 fountains, and the heating and treating systems of 2 public pools.
Through an effective preventive maintenance program, the section continues to maintain the City's wastewater and stormwater systems efficiently and effectively. This reduces health hazards, property
damage, extensive repairs, cleaning costs associated from damages caused by
sewer and storm drain back-ups, and promotes a cooperative atmosphere
with other City departments and external agencies.
