Heritage Park Community Center opened in August 2002. The Community Center, the hub of activity in the park, hosts a variety of recreational and leisure programs, special events and classes including arts and crafts, dance, exercise (aerobic and strength), games, sports and after school/intersession programs. The adjoining amphitheatre will host a variety of cultural and community activities and events.
The surrounding park, a 10.17 acre public neighborhood park, includes
a multi-purpose playing field, lighted outdoor basketball courts,
play equipment, restrooms, picnic tables and shelters, park perimeter
walking/jogging pathway, lakeside gazebo and perimeter parking.

Rooms in the Center are also available to be rented by public and
private organizations for parties, meetings and other functions.
