Veterans Park Recreation Center

Veterans Park Recreation Center, built in 2005, includes a gym, multi-purpose room, annex, dance room, game room, offices, restrooms and lobby. The surrounding park consists of one (1) lighted softball field and one (1) lighted multi-purpose field, informal skate area, tot lots, basketball court, off-leash dog area, picnic shelters, meditation garden, memorial feature and restrooms.
Veterans Park and Recreation Center will provide comprehensive recreational programming and services. |

Prospective services and programming may include Dance Classes, Dog Training, Martial Arts, Aerobics, Youth Sports Programs, Tiny Tots, Preschool age Classes, Gymnastics, Cooking, Photography, Senior Programs, Enrichment Workshops, Adult Sports Leagues and Tournaments, Arts & Crafts and Community Special Events.
A comprehensive open gym program will be available each evening and consist of drop-in play for Basketball, Volleyball, Indoor Soccer & Badminton. Please call the center or click on the link above for more information. The game room is open during normal hours of operation for drop in play. Activities include, pool tables, foosball tables, ping-pong and more.

Volunteer opportunities are available. Please call (619) 691-5260 for information on available opportunities.
There are two rooms in the Recreation Center available to be rented for public or private meetings, birthdays, graduations, etc., and can accommodate up to 100 guests. The gymnasium will also be available for groups to use on a rental basis for athletic activities and three picnic shelters located in the park may be reserved. Picnic areas that are not reserved can be used on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge. Two sports fields, one (1) softball and one (1) multi-purpose, will be available for rent on an hourly basis.
