Engineering Department Awards

The City Engineer and Deputy Director of Engineering provide guidance and direction to the Engineering Department.  The City Engineer works with the City’s management team to ensure the delivery of reliable and well-managed infrastructure.  In addition, the City Engineer represents the City on regional engineering issues such as transportation and wastewater treatment systems.  The Deputy Director of Engineering is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Department.

The Engineering Department’s Administration consists of three (3) professional support staff positions.  These individuals provide administrative support services to the entire Engineering Department.  In addition to this departmental support, the Administrative Secretary of the Engineering Department also provides administrative support to the City’s Safety Commission, as well as handles routing of all Engineering-related City Council Agenda items. This position is also responsible for managing the Engineering Department webpage.
