About Planning and Building
Jim Sandoval is the Director of Planning and Building. As the head
of the Planning and Building Department, Jim reports to the City
Manager and serves as liaison to the City Council and various regional
boards and commissions.

Division include:
- Administering the building plan review process
- Issuing building permits and other related permits
- Providing building inspection services
- Issuing business licenses
- Enforcing building and zoning codes.
