Demolition Permits
A Process Guide
A demolition permit is required whenever a building or a structure
is demolished. The 1998 California Building Code, Section 106 specifically
states, "Except as specified in Section 106.2, no building
or structure regulated by this code shall be erected, constructed
. . . or demolished unless a separate permit for each building or
structure has first been obtained from the building official."
To request a demolition permit the following items are required:
Permit fees are based upon valuation. Use the Building
