Rapid Review Service
Take time off Planning's project review process with the Rapid Review Service
 Whether you are a homeowner requesting a variance, a new business requiring a Conditional Use Permit, or a developer presenting architectural and landscape plans for Design Review you will benefit from our streamlined process called Rapid Review.
When you make a Rapid Review appointment, your application and plans will be reviewed while you wait to ensure all the information needed to process your application is included, thus eliminating up to 30 days on your processing time.
Rapid Review appointments can be scheduled with a Planning Development Services Technician (DST) and can range from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the complexity of the project. For your Rapid Review appointment, bring your completed application form, supporting documents, and the required number of plans. Please invite your architect or engineer to accompany you to answer technical questions. Completed applications will be accepted and processed by Planning’s technical staff. If items are missing or incomplete, your DST will provide a list of what you will need to proceed and get you back on track.
