This video was created as a unique way to present the images and goals of the General Plan Update (GPU) concepts to the City Council, Planning Commission and the public at a meeting in February 2005. The video is a mock “State of the City Address” by a young actor portraying the mayor of Chula Vista in the year 2030. The pictures shown are not actual pictures of projects proposed for the City, nor are the people shown citizens of Chula Vista. The production is meant only to give examples of what the City could look like in the future if the GPU was adopted as presented. The City expressly prohibits duplication of all or portions of this video without prior acknowledgment and authorization.
