Environmental Planning Section
Welcome to the City of Chula Vista's Environmental Planning Home

The primary function of this section is to ensure that the environmental
policies and procedures, as prescribed by state and federal law
as well as the City Of Chula Vista, are adhered to for all private
and public development projects within the City as well as assisting other departments in obtaining
environmental permits for capital improvement projects from Federal
and State agencies. This section is also responsible for implementation of the City's Multiple Species Conservation Program
Subarea Plan (click here), as well as
other related plans and programs of a similar nature. Finally, this
section provides staff support to the Resource
Conservation Commission, which is responsible of both environmental
resources and historic preservation.
