Chula Vista’s Sustainability Desk Provides Green Building Assistance
Starting in April 2014, the City of Chula Vista offers personal assistance on building codes, standards and sustainable practices at its Sustainability Desk. Lynne Mitschke, a green building expert, will be available on Thursdays to answer questions on:

• Chula Vista Green Building Standards
• Energy efficiency and renewable energy
• Indoor and outdoor water conservation
• Healthy and sustainable building materials
• Construction waste reduction
• Energy audits
• Green rating systems
• Other green building topics
Lynne is a LEED AP, Building Design and Construction; BPI Building Analyst; HERS I and II compliance inspector; and a Certified Energy Plans Examiner Residential and Non-Residential through CABEC. She has 15 years’ experience providing residential architectural support services to architects, homeowners, contractors, and engineers.
