The Housing Advisory Commission is an advisory and coordinating body that serves as a resource, to the Housing Authority, Redevelopment Agency, City Council, and City Manager, making recommendations on housing issues and opportunities that would benefit the community.
The nine-member HAC consists of seven voting members and up to two non-voting, ex officio members. The voting membership is composed representatives from specified housing interests: lenders, developers/real estate brokers, nonprofit housing development organizations, tenants, and residents at large.

The HAC meets quarterly -- July, October, January, April -- on the fourth Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Meetings are held at City Hall in Council Conference Room C101, located immediately to the left of City Council Chambers.
