Business Improvement Grant “BIG” Program

There’s something BIG happening for small business in Chula Vista!

BIG is designed to assist eligible businesses located within the City’s redevelopment project areas with façade renovations and improvements.  The BIG program provides up to $30,000 in grant funds for retail and service businesses to make exterior improvements such as signage, energy efficient lighting, paint, and more.  The program also offers matching grants up to $15,000 for commercial office properties in the program area.  Property and business owners are required to meet specific eligibility criteria.  Priority consideration is given to projects using Chula Vista contractors.  For more information, contact Janice Kluth at (619) 691-5022.
