Color Guard
Established in 2002, the Chula Vista Fire Department Color Guard
proudly serves as ambassadors of the department in a positive display
of professionalism and patriotism. The Color Guard represents the
department by presenting the “Colors” (national, state,
and city flags protected by axe bearers) during many civic events
including parades, sporting events, charities, graduations, and
funerals. The Color Guard’s unique uniform and precision marching
help to achieve a high-level of excellence for each assignment they
are detailed to perform.

The Chula Vista Color Guard welcomes requests from the community,
civic groups, companies, schools, and affiliations. Requests should
be received a minimum of two weeks in advance of the event. If you would like more information about the Color Guard or would like to request them to present colors during an event, please call (619) 691-5055.
Events the Color Guard has participated in:
- Third Avenue Yuletide Parade
- Mayoral State of the City Address
