Chula Vista Police Department Teen and Citizen's Academy

Students at the Citizen's Academy

For more than a decade, the Chula Vista Police Department has provided the public an opportunity to experience an inside view of public safety. Residents of Chula Vista can participate in a Teen or Adult Police Academy, where they will graduate with a better understanding of law enforcement and the Chula Vista Police Department's role in the community.

Both Academies are offered once per year and there is no cost. The Citizen's Academy is intended for people over the age of 18 and offered during the Fall. The Teen Academy is offered in February serving youth age 13-18.Teen Academy
