The Fiscal Operations unit focuses on centralizing all fiscal operations of the Department, identifying new funding opportunities and streamlining the procurement process. The unit is also responsible for financial reporting requirements, contracts, grants, audits, and payroll.

Fiscal Operations oversees the development of a comprehensive grant funding strategy to assist with the management of existing grants and obtaining and preparing for future grants. This is done with the goal of generating the necessary funding in order to provide the level of service needed by the growing community of Chula Vista.
