CVPD Detectives are investigating a double shooting that left a woman wounded and her boyfriend dead Wednesday night.

Officers were called to a home on Rambur Street near De La Toba Road about 7:45 p.m. A woman at the residence called 911 and said a man had shot her twice in the feet and then shot himself.

When officers arrived they found the injured woman and the man with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The woman was transported to an area hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries. The shooting is under investigation.
