Robert Anthony Arellano, a Hispanic male 25 years of age,is wanted in connection with a stabbing that occured early today.
On August 19, 2010 at about 2 a.m., suspect Robert Anthony Arellano, a Hispanic male, 25 years of age, entered a home in the 100 block of East Oneida Street and attacked two victims with a knife. During the attack, a 47-year old male resident of the home suffered a non life-threatening knife wound to an arm and other minor wounds. The second victim was a 48-year old female who was not injured.
Still armed with a knife, Arellano then confronted a third victim inside the residence, demanded property and made criminal threats. The 17-year old male resident was not injured.
Arellano is related to residents of the home, but his motives are unknown at this time. Officers arrived on scene a little more than five minutes after being dispatched, but Arellano had already fled on foot.
Arellano is a Hispanic male, 5'9" tall, 195lbs., with very short brown hair and a goatee. He has “Lemon Grove” tattooed on the back of his neck and “Marian” tattooed on the right side of his neck. He is on parole and should be considered armed and dangerous.
The public is encouraged to call the Chula Vista Police Department or their local jurisdiction if Arellano is seen.
