On Thursday, 2-3-2011 at approximately 10:30 p.m., the victim was about to deposit money at the Mission Federal Credit Union located at 599 Telegraph Canyon Rd, Chula Vista when she was robbed at gunpoint.

Minutes after the robbery CVPD officers conducted a traffic stop of a truck that matched the description of the getaway vehicle, a 2001, red, Toyota Tacoma, bearing California plates. The stop took place in the 700 block of East J Street in Chula Vista.

Inside the truck were two males fitting the description of the robbers, one, 5’7, 250 lbs and the other 5-9, 185 lbs. Both subjects were arrested. The shotgun used was recovered a short distance away and the victim’s property was found in the suspect’s vehicle.

Arrested:

Susp 1: Javier A. Reyes, 18 years of age, a resident of Chula Vista; charged with Robbery <211pc> and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime <182pc>(A)(1), bail is $100,000.

Susp 2: Marco Sandin, 19 lives of age, a resident of San Ysidro; charged with Robbery <211pc> and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime <182pc>(A)(1), bail is $100,000.
