Red Cross Water Safety Instructor trained teachers create a fun learning environment in which students of all ages and abilities can develop a love for aquatics. Parent & Tot and Pre-school and Toddler classes focus on water adjustment and teaching fundamental skills that will facilitate learning more advanced strokes. Students are taught skills through a logical progression of levels that requires building on previously mastered abilities. For this reason, students are not permitted to advance to the next level until they are proficient in all of the skills of the current level. All swimmers in Level 1 to Level 5 are tested on the first day of class to determine their appropriate level. Due to enrollment some levels are combined.Refund/Transfer Policy
Refunds are not issued unless the class is cancelled by the City of Chula Vista. Transfers and credits are issued limited circumstances up to 5 days prior to the start of the class. To request a transfer/credit contact an Aquatics Supervisor at the facility the class is scheduled, or for requests more than 2 weeks prior to the start of the class, you may email the request (please be sure to include your receipt number).
