|The South Chula Vista Branch Library will host a party for teens to celebrate the release of Stephenie Meyer’s fourth and final book in The Twilight Saga entitled “Breaking Dawn.” The event, for teens between the ages of 12 and 17, will be held on Aug. 2 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The South Chula Vista branch is located at 389 Orange Ave.
“Every year we try and do something special for the teens of Chula Vista for our Summer Reading Program Finale,” said Joy Whatley, Teen Programming Manager. “This year’s event has us really excited, as this series has been very popular with the teens.” Music, trivia, crafts and opportunities to win copies of the final book are part of the festivities.
“Breaking Dawn” is the long anticipated finale to Meyer’s popular series about a love triangle between a girl, a vampire, and a werewolf. The books in the series, “Twilight,” “New Moon,” “Eclipse,” and “Breaking Dawn” are available at all three Chula Vista libraries.
All library programs are co-sponsored by the Friends of the Chula Vista Public Library, and are free and open to the public.
