Those are a few of the questions Attorney Ruben Arizmendi will answer for Spanish speaking homeowners at a series of foreclosure prevention workshops Nov. 12, Dec. 10 and Jan. 14. Arizmendi will give a presentation in Spanish on how foreclosures work and alert homeowners to questionable practices, pitfalls and scams. Following the presentation, Arizmendi will be available to answer questions. In addition to the series offered in Spanish, the Chula Vista Public Library continues to offer foreclosure workshops in English at the Eastlake branch on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., and the South Chula Vista Branch on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., where Spanish translation is available. All library programs are co-sponsored by the Friends of the Chula Vista Public Library and are free and open to the public.
