Kitten Companions Needed
Are you looking for a loving pet and do you want to save a life – or two? Chula Vista Animal Care Facility’s “Adopt a Cat” campaign has been extended due to the excessive number of cats and kittens currently at the shelter.

During the summer months, the shelter receives cats and kittens at an alarming rate due to the breeding season. To help alleviate the overcrowding, the “Adopt a Cat” campaign was launched offering special incentives. For cats that are over one year old, the adoption fee will be waived. For kittens under 12 months, there is a “two for one” special: pay an adoption fee of $65 for one kitten and adopt a second kitten for free.

The adoption fee for each cat/kitten includes spay or neuter, microchip and vaccines. In addition, each cat/kitten adopter will be given a $20 Petco gift card – while supplies last – with their cat adoption packet.

The Chula Vista Animal Care Facility is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with adoptions processed until 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with adoptions processed until 3:30 p.m.. The shelter is located at 130 Beyer Way. For more information, please call (619) 476-2480.
