As a thank you to the community for their unwavering support the past several months, the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility will be offering an "Adoption Fee Waived" day on Saturday, August 29. Anyone who adopts an animal that has been at the shelter for 30 days or more will receive a credit towards their adoption fee ranging from $20 to $75. The adoption fee schedule is as follows: rabbits $20; kittens/cat $65, dogs $75, dogs over 5 years old $25.

The Animal Care Facility is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with adoptions processed until 3:30 p.m. The shelter is located at 130 Beyer Way. For more information, please call (619) 476-2480.
