The Chula Vista City Council has selected three candidates to be interviewed for the position of Interim City Councilmember. The three, who received two or more nominations from Council out of the 27 applicants, are William Hall, Kevin O’Neill and Mitch Thompson.

A special City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 22 at 1 p.m. to interview the candidates. After the interviews, the Council will make their selection. The Interim position is to fill the seat during John McCann’s absence from the Council while he is on military duty.
