Recreation Department to Host Specialized Camps During Fall Break

Although Chula Vista public schools are closed for two weeks from September 28 to October 9, local youth are encouraged to continue learning through recreation. A variety of eight co-ed day camps will be featured to provide entertainment, exercise and education for children ages 6-17.

Camps offered by the Chula Vista Recreation Department include: basketball, tennis, archery, judo, hip-hop dance, and Camp Hawaii. The focuses of the camps vary to fit the interests of all personality types and also cater to different fitness levels. Prices range from $28-$115 for Chula Vista residents and $34-$144 for non-residents.

Registration forms can be found at www.chulavistaca.gov/documents/events/2022.pdf. Registration will remain open until the camps are fully booked.

For additional questions about fall camps or registration, please contact Frank Carson at 619-691-5140 or fcarson@ci.chula-vista.ca.us.
