Although Chula Vista public schools are closed for two weeks from September 28 to October 9, local youth are encouraged to continue learning through recreation. A variety of eight co-ed day camps will be featured to provide entertainment, exercise and education for children ages 6-17.

Camps offered by the Chula Vista Recreation Department include: basketball, tennis, archery, judo, hip-hop dance, and Camp Hawaii. The focuses of the camps vary to fit the interests of all personality types and also cater to different fitness levels. Prices range from $28-$115 for Chula Vista residents and $34-$144 for non-residents.
