Activities and performances include: “Running Grunion” by Abel Silvas--a combination of comedy, storytelling, and mime offering an interpretation of Native American history and culture from past to present; Dan Story, Environmental Ethicist and Author of Where Wild Things Live; Animal Interactions; Illuminated Brush Art; and Nature-Themed Arts and Crafts.
The Nature Center is an internationally recognized zoo/aquarium, exhibiting plants and animals native to San Diego Bay and wetland habitats. This event is sponsored by the San Diego Unified Port District.
