Animal Care Facility Announces Adoption Campaign
Are you looking for a loving companion? If yes, stop by the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility’s “Adopt a Dog” campaign during the month of October.

The Facility is waiving their $75 fee to adopt any dog over one year of age. All dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and even micro-chipped to ensure a quick reunion should your pet get lost.

In 2009, animal shelters across the nation received ten percent more abandoned pets than last year, mostly due to foreclosures and relocations amid the harsh economy. Overpopulation of these shelters often leads to the unfortunate euthanasia of healthy animals. Here’s your opportunity to be a hero and adopt a dog!

The Chula Vista Animal Care Facility is open Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and adoptions are processed until 6:30 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with adoptions processed until 4:30 p.m. The shelter is located at 130 Beyer Way. For more information, please call (619) 476-2480.
