City Hall Offices Closed for Veterans Day
City of Chula Vista offices will be closed Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. All city libraries, recreation centers and swimming pools will be closed. The one exception is the Chula Vista Nature Center, which will offer free admission to veterans, current members of the U.S. armed forces, and their families with valid military I.D. on Veterans Day. The Nature Center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at the foot of “E” Street off the I-5 Freeway in Chula Vista.

Although the Police Department’s headquarters building and the Public Works facility will not be open to the public, emergency services will be provided as usual.

Trash and recycling services will be provided as normally scheduled with no delays, and the Household Hazardous Waste facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 and Saturday, November 14. All offices will re-open for normal business operations on Wednesday, November 12.
