Driving Safety Class Offered
Young drivers and their parents are encouraged to attend a free workshop on Monday, December 21 at 10 a.m. at Veterans Park Recreation Center in Chula Vista. Entitled, LV2XLR8 (Love to Accelerate), the program features professional stock car driver, Sandy Rose Bauler, as she shares important tips that will help reduce vehicle accidents and street racing. Along with other advanced driving techniques, Bauler will teach both passenger and pedestrian safety. Adding to the invaluable experience, young drivers will also learn how to avoid and/or survive a vehicle accident, and learn the difference between fact and fiction in television and the movie industry.

The workshop is recommended for those 15 years of age and older and certificates can be obtained upon request. Veterans Park is located at 785 East Palomar Street. For more information, call Loryn Hendrickson at (619) 409-5815.
