| The City of Chula Vista continues to finalize its new operating hours at various facilities in order to offset the budget deficit for 2011. A declining economy, decrease in major revenue sources and the defeat of Prop H, the Telecommunications User’s Tax (TUT), has compounded the City’s budget gap. Beginning January 10, 2011, the City will have new hours of operations at various facilities and public counters and will be reducing many public services and programs. For a complete list, visit the Featured Focus on the City’s website at www.chulavistaca.gov.
