|Beginning this week, the Chula Vista’s Norman Park Center will be hosting a free Bunco Game Night on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30 p.m. Bunco is a dice game that has been played since the 18th Century. In recent years, Bunco has seen a resurgence as the "game that is sweeping the nation." Bunco consists of groups playing six rounds with dice, and is a game of luck and skill combined. Those winning the most rounds will receive prizes.
“After months of public forums and surveys, we are starting to see results of having new users to our facility, especially the Baby Boomer generation age group. We hope by offering one of the fastest growing games in the country, people will choose to enjoy their public facilities for their recreational time,” said Buck Martin, Director of Recreation.
