| On Monday, March 19, police were called to investigate reports that a juvenile had been molested by a known adult. The victim was interviewed, and police learned that the acts occurred over several months at various locations. The suspect, 69 year-old Robert Buechner of Ramona, was arrested the following day at Ramona High School, where he is employed as a teacher’s aide.
The victim did not attend Ramona High, nor is there any reason to believe students at the school were also victimized. Rather, the victim met Buechner through a family member.
Buechner was booked into county jail on multiple counts of child molest and will be arraigned on Thursday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. in South Bay Court. |
