Get festive with your family, friends and neighbors and go for a day of fun at the Festival Cinco De Mayo. The free festival is returning for the sixteenth year to downtown Chula Vista on Sunday, May 6. The community is welcome to join the festivities on Third Ave. from Center to E Streets from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event brings up to 20,000 visitors to enjoy a full day of family fun and activities. This year, the agenda includes live entertainment on two stages, a beer garden, artisan booths, a spicy food contest and authentic food from Mexico. The event also is featuring a Kids’ Fun Zone with non-stop amusement for children, including carnival rides, inflatables, bungee flying, and a rock-climbing wall.
