| FREE LUNCHES, SNACKS OFFERED DURING SUMMER BREAK |

Free lunches and snacks will be offered this summer for children 1 - 18 years of age at the Otay Recreation Center and Parkway Community Center in Chula Vista. The program coincides with the summer break for children attending Chula Vista public schools.
The lunches and snacks will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis Monday through Friday (except holidays) at the centers from June 4 to July 20, during the following times:
Otay Recreation Center, 3554 Main St., (619) 476-5325:
· Lunch---12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
· Snack---2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Parkway Community Center, 373 Park Way, (619) 691-5083:
· Lunch---12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
“We are grateful to continue this service to our community for over 15 years at our recreation centers to help combat childhood obesity and malnutrition,” said Buck Martin, Director of Recreation. The Summer Free Lunch Program is offered through cooperation between the USDA Healthy Families Program, the Chula Vista Elementary School District, the Friends of Chula Vista Recreation and the City of Chula Vista Recreation Department.
