The Chula Vista Recreation Department has been offering specialized summer camps throughout the summer but now that public schools in Chula Vista start on July 25, there will be one last week of specialized summer camps. The specialized partial day camps are offered at many Chula Vista parks and recreation centers beginning Monday, July 16. The camps remaining include archery, art, basketball, Hip Hop dance and volleyball.
“We have had to expand our usual one archery camp per season to three this summer because of the unprecedented demand for the camps,” said Tara Robey, two-time national archery champion and archery instructor.
