The Chula Vista Public Library will be providing free lunches and afternoon snacks for children 1-18 years of age from September 24 - October 5, Monday through Friday. The free program corresponds with Chula Vista public school’s fall break. Offered on a first-come, first-served basis, both the Civic Center and South branch libraries will serve lunch from 12-1 p.m. After lunch, the library will also be showing movies for children to enjoy. Snacks will be provided from 3-3:30 p.m.

The library’s free lunch and snack program is offered in cooperation with the Chula Vista Elementary School District and the Seamless Summer Feeding Program, provided through the California Department of Education.
